WVHDF Releases 2021 Annual Report

The West Virginia Housing Development Fund is pleased to release the 2021 Annual Report. 

The report highlights the Fund’s continued work to make housing more affordable and accessible across the state. Fund Maintains Top Rating

Standard & Poor’s Rating Service has once again affirmed West Virginia Housing Development Fund’s “AAA” issuer credit rating. The “AAA” qualification is Standard & Poor’s highest ranking and the Fund is the only state housing finance agency to receive an “AAA” rating.

Program to Offer Help for West Virginia Renters, Landlords Now Accepting Applications

CHARLESTON – Gov. Jim Justice and the West Virginia Housing Development Fund are excited to announce that a program developed to help renters and landlords impacted by COVID-19 is open and accepting applications.

The Mountaineer Rental Assistance Program offers direct financial assistance to renters who have lost their job, had their income reduced or suffered a significant cost or financial hardship because of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
