J.D. Stricklen, a longtime member of the West Virginia Housing Development Fund Board of Directors, has resigned.
Stricklen, a pillar of the state’s housing and home building community, served on the board for 12 years.
“J.D. always offered a unique, informed perspective during our board meetings,” said Erica Boggess, the Fund’s Executive Director. “He was a great champion for the Fund and was a tireless advocate for our agency and our programs.”
Stricklen served on the board during crucial times for the Fund, including our decision to build a new building, the introduction of several home-buying programs, major upgrades to our loan servicing department and the implementation of a host of initiatives designed to better serve communities across our state, Boggess said.
“We wish J.D. nothing but the best and we thank him for his service,” Boggess said.
