The below video is a great resource to help potential home buyers decide if homeownership is the next right step for them. It explains the importance of good credit, how income and expenses can affect their ability to afford a home, and where and how to find a lender. Through the years, we’ve heard many misconceptions about the Fund and our programs. Because of those misconceptions, many buyers may think they do not qualify for our programs. The below video busts some of those myths and explains how many West Virginia home buyers do in fact qualify for home loans through the West Virginia Housing Development Fund.

The great thing about the West Virginia Housing Development Fund is that we don’t operate like a typical bank. We can generally offer your buyers lower interest rates, saving them money on each monthly mortgage payment, even if they work with a partner lender to secure their WVHDF home loan.
