Fund Unveils Home Built Using CASH Program

Two-story residence one of a number of new homes in the area

GRAFTON –  The West Virginia Housing Development Fund is excited to announce that a new home constructed using our CASH program is up for sale. CASH is an acronym for Constructing Affordable Sensible Homes.

The house was built by Bridgeport-based McDonald Construction and is part of a cozy new development on Lucretia Court, just outside the city’s downtown area.

The two-story home features three full bathrooms, a master suite with a full bath, four bedrooms, a  living room, a family room, a large kitchen and dining area, second floor washer and dryer hookups, a spacious two-car garage and two charming outdoor living areas.

“This is a sturdy, well-built house and will make a great home for a West Virginia family,” said Erica Boggess, the Fund’s Acting Executive Director. “We hope this is the first of many homes built using the CASH program.”

The CASH program encourages builders and modular home dealerships to construct and sell single-family homes.

“We’re extremely happy to work with the Fund,” said Fred McDonald of McDonald Construction. “This is a great product.”

For more information about the CASH program, please contact the Fund at 1 800 933 9843 and ask for an area manager.
