COLLECTIONS REPRESENTATIVE

The West Virginia Housing Development Fund (the “Fund”) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Collections Representative in our Charleston Office.  Essential Functions include, but are not limited to, monitoring delinquent loans through the foreclosure process, preparing delinquency reports as necessary; providing borrowers counseling electronically, over the phone, or in person; issuing Right To Cure and other various collection letters; analyzing and preparing files for account submission to the Foreclosure Committee; assisting with daily payments; completing all collection activity in compliance with investor requirements and other regulations; and meeting monthly call goals as required.  Core Competencies include:  Communication, Computer Skills, Conflict Management, Customer Service and Organizational Skills.  High School Graduate or GED equivalent with a minimum of two years’ experience in mortgage loan collection, delinquency and/or clerical functions plus knowledge of Microsoft Office products REQUIRED; additional coursework in Business and experience in financial counseling beneficial.  TDD#:  1-888-334-5993.  To apply for this position, please complete an online application. FORECLOSURE AND BANKRUPTCY REPRESENTATIVE

The West Virginia Housing Development Fund (the “Fund”) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Foreclosure and Bankruptcy Representative in our Charleston Office.  Essential Functions include, but are not limited to, reporting and preforming all necessary Bankruptcy functions; preparing loans for the foreclosure process to meet investor/insurer requirements; preparing notices of default and completing insurer and investor reporting for loans in foreclosure status; filing mortgage insurance claims post foreclosure; completing input for foreclosure billing process; providing excellent customer service electronically, over the phone and in person; providing loss mitigation assistance for borrowers facing foreclosure; and ordering property inspections for delinquent loans.  Core Competencies include:  Communication, Conflict Management, Customer Service, Organizational Skills and Problem Solving.  High School Graduate or GED equivalent with a minimum of three years’ experience in collections and/or mortgage insurance claims, procedures and practices plus knowledge of Microsoft Office products REQUIRED; Additional coursework in real estate with experience in foreclosure loans PREFERRED.  TDD#:  1-888-334-5993.  To apply for this position, please complete an online application.
